The second quarter of 2023 saw diverse trends for the top music and podcast applications in Cyprus, according to data from Sensor Tower.

YouTube Music experienced consistent weekly downloads ranging between 361 and 472, peaking at 472 in mid-June. Revenue fluctuated, reaching a high of $828 in early May and closing the quarter with $776.

For Spotify: Music and Podcasts, weekly downloads were robust, starting at 1.6K in late March and climbing to 1.9K by the end of June. The app's revenue also saw an upward trend, with a significant increase to $869 in the final week of the quarter.

Deezer: Music & Podcast Player had modest download numbers, peaking at 151 in mid-May. Revenue showed variability, with notable peaks of $285 and $308 in early and mid-June, respectively.

TuneIn Radio: Music & Sports saw stable download numbers, with a slight dip to 45 in early June but rebounding to 64 by the end of the month. Revenue was relatively steady, averaging around $100 weekly, with a peak of $166 in early June.

Lastly, Apple Music had a mixed performance. Downloads remained consistent, hovering around 200 weekly, while revenue saw a dramatic increase to $211 in early June before stabilizing at $99 by the end of the quarter.
